Twentieth Century Fox reportedly paid Liam Neeson $20 million for Taken 3, so there’s a lot of pressure on the 62-year-old Hollywood veteran to use his “particular set of skills” to do what he does best: Namely, cracking skulls and packing audiences into the theater. Now that the film’s first trailer has been released, we can safely say Neeson is still very capable of performing at least one of those feats.
Yes, Taken 3 (or Tak3n, if you prefer, which you shouldn’t) features more things being taken followed by Neeson taking them back.
You may have thought this movie already came out, but that was actually a A Walk Among the Tombstones, another film in which Neeson growls for 90 minutes straight and kicks seven kinds of ass.
If it seems like he’s being typecast these days, remember that Neeson also starred in Seth McFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West over the summer.
Given that film’s dismal box office and critical reception, it’s not hard to see why Neeson rushed right back to the sort of role that made him famous.
So does the trailer for Taken 3 look an awful lot like the trailer for Taken 2? Yes. Is that a problem? Not at all. And even if it was, we certainly wouldn’t say so to Liam’s face.
Ashley Hebert Gives Birth to a Boy!
Ashley Hebert is a first-time mother!
The Bachelorette from Season 7 of that ABC series has welcomed a boy into the world with husband JP Rosenbaum, with the latter confirming the big news Us Weekly.
“Both mom and baby are doing great and we are so so happy to welcome little Fordy to the world!!!” Rosenbaum says. “Cutest little baby on the planet!”
Yes, Fordy. The newborn’s name is Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 oz,and measured at 18.5 inches in length.
Hebert and Rosenbaum revealed the former’s expecting state in March and then announced the child’s gender on Twitter about a month later.
As recently as this past Friday, Hebert posted a selfie of her GIANT baby bump, making it clear she was ready to be a mother. The former reality star wrote
“This has to be the last weekend!!?!!? #frontheavy #bbayr”
Hebert and Rosenbaum’s fairy-tale romance unfolded over the course of her season of The Bachelorette, which aired in the spring of 2011.
Following an emotional few months on air, Hebert chose Rosenbaum as her final suitor and he then proposed with a 3.5-carat ring in Fiji on the finale.
The couple got married in December 2012 and their wedding later aired as a special on ABC. Then she got pregnant early this year.
We’re so happy for them! Congratulations!
