Soma Books is a large publisher and distributor of Indian books in the UK.
the project brief
To translate and typeset a dual language picture book aimed at children. We were Bubble Translationsed to translate into Turkish, Somali, Chinese, Czech, Portuguese and Croatian.
the challenge
In order to meet Soma Books’ quality expectations and produce translations suitable for the target audience, it was necessary to call upon specialist translators familiar with children’s books.
The Bubbles Translation Group was required to supply the translations back in their original layout. For this particular project our graphic design studio completed the typesetting stage using PageMaker 7, as requested by Soma Books.

A quick turnaround time and accuracy of the translations, coupled with our experienced Desk Top Publishing operators and Project Manager always being on hand to advise the client were key factors in the successful achievement of this project.
BT Radianz

BT Radianz is a business-to-business e-commerce company providing secure IP networking, connectivity and services for the global finance community.
the project brief
To translate Radianz’s website into French, German, Italian, and Japanese. Using our translations the client would then re-create the foreign language versions of the site in html.
the challenge
We were in contact with both BT Radianz and their Translation Services UK web team in the States to ensure that the running of the project went smoothly. It was established that we would need to strip the text from the website in order to produce source files to send to the translators.
The Bubble Translations’s groups web team, who have vast experience and a deep understanding of website translations, were able to fully format the files stripped from the website in such a way that would ensure ease of use for the client on delivery.
These files were given to some of Bubble Translations’s professional translators, who all had a background in IT and finance.

The Bubbles Translation Group worked hard throughout the project to understand the client’s needs and come up with suitable solutions to any challenges that arose.
